Selling fast on Vinted: 6 habits that make the difference

Items that sell within days almost always have the same things in common. The six habits to adopt, from the photo to shipping.

Some items sell in two days, others sit for months. The difference is rarely luck: visibility, trust and responsiveness do most of the work. Here are six simple habits to apply across your whole wardrobe.

1. A sharp first photo on a plain background

The thumbnail is what stops the thumb in the feed. Daylight, a simple background, the whole item clearly visible. Then add the details: label, fabric, any flaws. Our photo guide covers the rules that matter most.

2. A price in line with what actually sells

Look at similar items that have already sold, not just the ones still listed: that is the real market price. A fair price from the start saves weeks of waiting and one price cut after another.

3. A complete, precise listing

A title with the words buyers type, every field filled in (brand, size, condition, colour), measurements and flaws mentioned. A complete listing shows up in more filtered searches and raises fewer questions.

4. Answer messages and offers quickly

An interested buyer is often looking at several listings at once. If you reply quickly, you have a better chance that yours is the one they buy. Faced with a low offer, make a counter-offer rather than ignoring it.

5. Take care of shipping and reviews

Shipping quickly, packing well and staying polite earns you good reviews. Buyers check them before buying, especially for pricier items: a well-rated profile reassures them and wins sales.

💡 Listings slide down the results as others are posted. An item nobody sees cannot sell, even at the right price.

6. Keep your listings visible

The last habit is the one most often forgotten: regularly putting your unsold items back in front of buyers. Relisto does it for you, one item at a time, at a human pace, while you take care of the rest.
